SMS Program Terms

How our AI phone system texts you — and how you opted in

This page describes the SMS program used by SidRatnam's AI phone receptionist on behalf of the businesses it answers calls for (for example, catering order confirmations). It exists so anyone — a customer, or a carrier reviewing this program — can see exactly how consent works.

How you opt in

You call a business phone line answered by SidRatnam's AI receptionist (for example, a catering inquiry line). During that call, if the AI needs to text you — to confirm a booking, share availability, or follow up — it asks for your phone number and tells you a text is coming.

Immediately after the call, you receive exactly one message:

"Reply YES to receive text updates about your catering inquiry. Msg & data rates may apply, msg frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."

No other message is sent to your number until you reply YES to that exact text. Your reply is the recorded consent event — not the verbal request on the call, which we can't independently verify. Only after a YES do you receive the actual content message (booking confirmation, availability, etc.).

Message samples once opted in

"[Business]: Your catering request for [Date] has been confirmed. We'll contact you with any additional details needed. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help."
"[Business]: We're unable to accommodate [Date]. The earliest available date is [Alt Date]. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help."

Message frequency & cost

Message frequency varies based on your inquiry — typically a handful of messages tied to a single order or booking, not ongoing marketing. Message and data rates may apply.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message at any time. You'll receive one confirmation that you've been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent. Reply HELP for support.
